Set in a sandy neighborhood surrounded by small factories and farms, Cristo Redentor Presbyterian Church hardly seems a place where advanced technology plays a role in daily life. Appearances are deceiving, however, and the area, known as Parque Industrial, has not been immune to the technological revolution sweeping Peru. Today, it matters little where you are.
This post first appeared here on Wesley Baker's personal blog. Wesley is a missionary serving in Trujillo with Peru Mission in church planting and strategic planning. On our last Sunday in Texas I had the privilege of preaching at our home church, Christ Presbyterian, in New Braunfels.
(This post originally appeared on the Mills family blog. Stuart Mills serves as associate pastor at Cristo Restaurador Presbyterian Church in Manuel Arévalo, and also as Chaplain with Parish Woodshop. You can read the original post here.) Over the last three weeks, I have had the privilege of preaching through the lectionary on different occasions.
We are very grateful to the Lord for His multiple blessings. Among them, we give thanks for the arrival of the short-term teams. We have had teams from Christ Church (Branchville, Alabama), Second Presbyterian Church (Greenville, SC), and Matthews OPC (Matthews, NC).
