This month Peru Mission was incredibly blessed by Silent Images, an organization that “provides photography and videography services to other nonprofit organizations seeking to tell stories of hope in the midst of persecution, poverty, or oppression.”

Humility is against our nature but Christ came to change our natures, to wash us and to cleanse us.

Last Saturday Christ the King Presbyterian Church held a sports day or campeonato. Peruvians love sports--volleyball and soccer (futbol), to be specific--and there are few better ways to get a group together than to host a tournament.  Each missional cell group put together teams for both sports, and one of the sisters of the church cooked up a delicious lunch of chicken and rice for the whole crowd. There were games for the little ones, and everyone had a great time visiting.

In 1999, Pastors Wes Baker and Bill Bradford co-authored a document that has had a profound impact on the way we think about our ministry and how we communicate to others what we are doing in Peru. That document was the Peru Mission Philosophy. For this issue of Bulletin, we spoke with Pastor Baker about his recent revision of the philosophy.
