A Job for Everyone

Often people wonder if there is a place for them on a mission team. It is a favorite part of my job to watch God provide everything we need as well as allowing people from all walks of life be a part of the work we are doing here. This past week, we saw God provide in many unique ways. A team from Christ Presbyterian Church in New Braunfuls, Texas, came to serve and encourage. The team consisted of 2 families (with 2 kids each), a mom on her own and a physician. Dr. Gary Bird was able to see patients in the clinic while the other team members worked out at Parque Industrial to continue building the new sanctuary. Dr. Bird even joined in on the construction work one day. It was great to see the kids interact with the other kids in the neighborhood, playing soccer, riding skateboards--makes you realize that kids are all the same, world over! And they were a big help on the construction site also. One team member, Leah, was able to do evangelism in the clinic waiting room each day through books and visiting with the patients. God used each and every person that came to serve.

Maybe you too are thinking, what could I do? Trust in the Lord and if He calls you to go, He will provide the job just for you!

Everyone works together, young and old.

Yes! Women can do construction work too!

Thanks Christ Presbyterian for a great week!
