At the beginning of this month, Sinergia Microfinance welcomed a new member to their team. As chaplain, Jorge Honores provides pastoral counseling to the ministry's clients. “Sinergia,” says Honores, “not only sees the economic side of things, but rather is a group of Christians who see that people need in their hearts to know the risen Christ as Lord.” In addition to visiting Sinergia's clients in their homes every day, Honores also assists Bethesda Clinic and the Clementina church plant as preacher and evangelist. Honores desires that each of these families eventually become part of the covenant community and commit their lives to Christ.
