CMS Board Meeting
Two weeks ago, the board of
Christian Missionary Society
(CMS) met in Statesboro, GA, to discuss various issues relating to our vision and strategy here in Peru. The board reviewed financial statements from the previous year, and approved personal and ministry budgets for 2012. The board also reviewed and approved new
Arévalo Missional Hospital campaign
materials and discussed fundraising strategies for this important campaign. Missionaries
Wes Baker
and
Alonzo Ramírez
traveled from Peru to the U.S. to participate in the meeting, and shared with the board a report on the political and economic context within which Peru Mission serves. We are so thankful for the service of our brothers on the CMS board and pray that the Lord would continue to grant them wisdom as they help to guide us in our ministry.
