Pastor Juan Marquina has been serving in the Wichanzao Presbyterian Church since 2007.  One of the most important parts of his work is to bring up young leaders from within the church; he focuses on teaching them solid doctrine (they study the Westminster Shorter Catechism) as well as developing their individual gifts.  Pastor Juan testifies that in spite of all the challenges Christians face, the mercy of God allows there to be many churches throughout Peru that persevere in the faith.  He says “all people need to recognize that the only way the world can live in peace is through faith in the gospel.”
