On Sunday the 15th of January, the congregation of Christ the King Presbyterian church in Trujillo cast their vote for their two deacon candidates, Esdras Vásquez and Emilio Salaverry. The congregation overwhelmingly confirmed both candidates, who were ordained yesterday, January 29th, at Christ the King. In addition to serving as deacons in the church, Esdras and Emilio will each also be taking on the responsibility of shepherding a cell group. We are so thankful to God for these two men. He has answered our prayers for leaders for our churches in big ways. Praised be the Lord!
