Last week, Pastors Wesley Baker, Percy Padilla, and Ricardo Hernández led a conference at Manuel Arévalo Presbyterian Church with the purpose of strengthening marriages throughout our parishes. The text for the talks was the foundational passage Genesis 2:24: “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” The conference drew many couples from each of our parishes, and culminated in a banquet for married couples.
