We need $402,800 over three years (2026–2028) to build a faithful Reformed Christian school in this provincial capital of 119,000 people. Can you help?
Chulucanas is a growing city and the capital of Morropón Province in Piura. Despite an evangelical community of roughly 10,000 people, there is no Christian school in the entire city. Our local Presbyterian church—now organized with its own Session and served by Pastor Segundo Ramírez—is positioned to meet this clear, long-standing need.
The John Calvin Presbyterian School exists to provide Christ-centered, academically excellent education that forms students to love God with heart, soul, mind, and strength—and to serve their community with wisdom, compassion, and integrity. Every subject will be taught as part of God's truth, under the lordship of Christ.
Families in Chulucanas currently must choose between schooling that offers little spiritual formation or spiritual instruction that lacks academic rigor. Many Roman Catholic families also desire high academic standards and moral clarity for their children. A faithful Christian school can serve both—offering excellent education while pointing students and households to the hope of the gospel.
Three-Year Building Plan:
2026 – Campus Phase 1 ($167,000): Blueprints and permits, first two classrooms, administration office, computer classroom, teachers' meeting room, and auditorium (which will also serve as a sanctuary).
2027 – Campus Completion ($81,700): Patio and playground, finish auditorium, and partial staffing for teachers, headmaster, and administrator.
2028 – Expansion ($154,100): Four additional classrooms (grades 2–5), headmaster's office, and continued staffing support.
Ways to Give:
$50,000 — Build a classroom
$25,000 — Fund the computer classroom, admin office, teachers' room, or auditorium phase
$15,000 — Build the patio and playground
$21,500 — Support half-salaries for two teachers
