Hunter has worked with Peru Mission since 2023. He grew up in Tennessee, graduated from Milligan University in 2013 with a degree in Bible and emphasis in missions. After serving with a mission in Bulgaria for two years, he met and married Rosa and moved to Trujillo in 2020.

Hunter is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist musician. He works in music development for our presbytery and is one of the leaders of our Psalter Project which consists of creating print, audio, and video recordings of each piece to facilitate music education in our congregations and church plants. 

In addition, Hunter assists with SUSA university ministry, helping coordinate weekly gatherings and also planning city-wide youth events. He also meets regularly with young men for mentoring and discipleship.
